She was formerly the General Manager of Ephesians Management Corporation, an affiliate of the Airspeed Group of Companies, where she had also handled the HR of the different subsidiaries engaged in domestic freight forwarding, gift delivery service, travel and food. She is well-versed and has a vast experience in human resource management, HR strategic planning, compensation and employee benefits, training and development, labor relations, policy formulation, workforce planning and employment, performance management, workplace safety and health, compliance, and administration. She has a passion for developing the capabilities of employees to help organizations achieve their goals.
Maila enjoys organizing corporate events like learning and planning sessions, employee engagement activities, anniversary and Christmas parties and church-based activities. She is actively involved in the Music Ministry of her parish where she gets to organize fund-raising concerts and other community-based activities.
